TERMS & CONDITIONS (the small print!)

50% deposit is payable at the time of order.

Samples can be sent upon request. Samples requested will be charged at £2 each. A full set of one design (day & evening invitation, thank you, order of service/menu, place name) can be ordered at a cost of £10. Sample favours can be ordered at cost of £2 each. These payments are deductible from your final order.

We would suggest that you place your order as soon as possible to ensure that we are able to complete it as we can be very busy during peak periods. At the time of your order we usually only need numbers for invitations and reply cards and approximate numbers for the rest of your stationery. Final numbers for your invites must be provided once your proof has been signed and final numbers for the rest of your stationery can be provided 6 weeks prior to the wedding. Order of Service details and Menu details are usually not finalised until a few weeks before the wedding date. We will endeavor to send these to you at least 1 week prior to your wedding providing that you supply us with the relevant information as soon as this is confirmed.

We would recommend sending out your invitations at least two months prior to your wedding date. We usually need at least 6 weeks to complete your order and therefore require return of your signed proofs by approximately 16 weeks prior to your wedding date.

Proofs of all ordered stationery will be sent to you for approval by first class post. Please check these carefully and sign and return the enclosed form to us. Once we have received the signed form no refund is payable. We do not accept responsibility for mistakes and cannot be held liable for negligent proof reading by the client.

Cancellations are not acceptable after we have received your signed proofs.

Full payment must be received prior to dispatch of order. Delivery: Free local delivery for Edinburgh area. Charge of £10 for Mid/West/East Lothian, Fife and Glasgow. All orders may be collected in Edinburgh free of charge. Nationwide orders are posted via Royal Mail at a cost of £20 next day special delivery. Please ensure that someone will be able to sign for the delivery.

We require full payment up front for all orders placed within 6 weeks prior to the date of the wedding. In the case of orders received at short notice full payment will be required at the time of ordering.

Prices are subject to change without notice but an increase will not affect confirmed orders.

Please note that as all designs are handmade to order they may not appear exactly as shown in the picture and some elements may vary slightly. We can guarantee however that they will be to the same high standard to those shown. We reserve the right to make changes to designs and components at any time.

With Love … by Lorraine - additional information

All of all designs are handmade to order. This means that all aspects of the design can be changed to suit your individual needs. This includes the colour, texture and shape of the card as well as the main aspects of the design such as colour of ribbon, different tartans, alternative flowers, verses etc.

All prices quoted include envelopes and printed inserts (except thank you cards - printed message can be added for 15p extra per card.). Font colour printed in black ink unless otherwise requested. Envelopes are cream or white and come with a love heart cut out on the back unless requested otherwise. Coloured, gold/silver and transparent envelopes can also be provided. Postage boxes are available for our 3D and scroll designs at an additional cost.

We do not sell in pack numbers and we have no minimum order level - you only have to buy the exact number of invitations that you require. However, we would recommend ordering a few extra cards in case of errors in writing in names and to cover any additional guests being added at a later date.

We also offer the following services at an additional cost – please contact us to discuss your individual requirements:

* Printed / handwritten guest names on invitations & place names

* Envelope sealing, addressing & postage service

Acceptance Card : Postcard style with co-ordinating design on one side and pre printed text on the other. Supplied with white or cream envelope. Can also be provided as postcards with address on one side and relevant text on the other – please specify when ordering.

Order of Service & Menu : Four page insert in white or cream. Page one will detail the name of the bride and groom along with the date, time and venue of the wedding. Pages two and three detail the service or in the case of menu page 3 will detail the menu choices. Please send exact wordings for menu & hymns. It is your responsibility to obtain any copyright where required. It is recommended to order enough for one order of service per couple and 3/4 menus per table.

Place Names : These are left blank for you to insert your guest names. Table Names/Numbers : These are designed to sit in standard table number holders – please check with your venue that they are able to supply these. Table Plan : Please supply the names under the allocated tables in sequence of how you would like them to be placed.
